morning devotion

It was easier than anticipated to wake up this morning. I even resisted the usual check the clock every time my eyes open urge. The baby didn’t sleep that well, and maybe that had something to do with it. Or maybe thinking on it so much yesterday allowed the mantra to manifest. I’m relieved I did it. And it was wonderful. Now here I sit, after meditation and yoga, on the front porch with my tea, greeting the morning.

Oh, glorious day. Thank you.

  1. Good to see you back. I am trying to leave a comment again and this time it looks like it will work. No idea what is going on at my end of the PC. Which set did you use for your card reading here?

    • Hey Mel! Thanks, yeah it’s good to be back. It feels good. My days seem to flow better when I give myself back to Spirit. The cards I used in this post are called Grace Cards by Cheryl Richardson. I love them. They are so beautiful and simple. I don’t really use them as “reading” cards, but more as intention cards. I pick one, or in this case two, and let them be reminders as to what I’m working toward or focusing on. And when I feel like I’ve embodied them, even if it’s only temporary, I move on. Right now I’m really working on honoring myself, and just seeing those cards on a daily basis really serves to keep me on that path.
      Namaste, sister!

      • Honouring yourself is an awesome intention. Women don’t seem to be doing this a lot because they think there is something wrong with that.
I thought the style looks familiar :). I have got her Self-Care cards and also use them as inspiration for the day and not for reading.
        Take care
